We are aware of the rumors being spread about by the enemies of progress of this great church. John 8:44 made it clear to us were lies came from and the father of it. “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it”. KJV”

In order to free all from this clog of lies we have decided to place the truth of the real originator of the unity meeting that came to means at Papa Oschoffa Mercy-land in Port-Novo by asking from a reliable source and some of the participants listed at the unity meeting placed on this web-site.

Although, we intend to wait for the communiqué and original copy of the videocassette of the unity meeting to be placed on the web site, but owing to the rumor lingering around we decided to furnish the good Celestians the real truth of the story.

Early last year some God fearing women that has the love of this church at heart were contemplating of the way this church is tearing apart, there and then they summoned courage by approaching a dignified man of God (we will not mention the name of the Superior Evangelist because he wants all the glory to be to God) that has the same motive they shared. Afterwards, middle of that year the Superior Evangelist inaugurated the group named Women Empowerment Forum.

Right after that, they have being working tirelessly spending their money, time and wisdom to ensure sanity in this church. If we can recollect the crowd at the Celestial City Imeko last year convocation, they were the one that rally all the women together at the mercy land praying for the unity of this church. Before then, they had meetings with all the elders, Pastor Emmanuel and the trustee in which they gave them the green light that they will work along with them. They had a meeting with Pastor Maforikan and all the shepherds in the Nigeria Diocese in which they received warmed welcome from the crowd.

Late last year self-acclaimed Pastor Bolanle Shonekan went to Nigeria to ask for his rightful position from the trustee owing to the written agreement they had with him which is yet to be disclosed to the public, although, we learnt that he had entertained several media coverage to prove his point, it was indeed a thug of war that caused a lot of controversy and disarray among the Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa faction.

Early this year Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa and the Trustee invited Superior Evangelist Lagun Adesanya and Superior Evangelist Femi Coker (representing Pastor Maforikan faction) for their opinion on the way forward for this church. Superior Evangelist Lagun Adesanya made his point clear and emphasized that as far as this church is concerned we don’t have a “Pastor” because we could not see any basic miraculous work performed by any one of the Pastors we’ve been having and of cause you referring to Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa you don’t have the desire for this church even when your “Dad” was alive all the attendance mouth was a gape because they could not believed Superior Evangelist Lagun Adesanya would express his mind in such manner. In response to that Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa said “Well I learnt that the spiritual message chose me to carry the cross and I indeed yielded to it.”

Superior Evangelist Lagun Adesanya seized that opportunity to narrate his vision to them: that “The Founder, Pastor S B J Oschoffa is not pleased with what is happening in this church, instead of everyone of us to work towards the progress of this church, we are fighting for our selfish gain and not doing the will of God. This is not a terrestrial church but Celestial church created by God himself. Therefore, he indulged everyone to come together to work towards the fulfillment of the projects that were before us as a church and also to propagate the word of God for the salvation of our soul.” Afterwards, Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa asked Superior Evangelist Banjo as a representative from their side and Superior Evangelist Lagun Adesanya a representative from Pastor Maforikan faction to iron out the differences and come up with a blue print in which will be adopted by all.

Late March this year (2005) Pastor Maforikan and Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa with their followers, and the Women Empowerment Forum converged at the Papa Oschoffa mercy land at Ajase in Port Novo Republic of Benin to find a lasting solution to the problems facing the church as reviewed on the web site. In the cause of the meeting all the participants were given opportunity to express or share their views. We are not going to place everything now until we get the communiqué, but we will not hesitate to pick this point out since it is the real reason of placing the truth here. When one of the trustees in person of Superior Evangelist Adefeso stood up to address the crowd he started by saying “Now that the others have come back home…”(he did not finish his statement before the crowd shouted at him to shut up and sit down, we now realized that these so call trustee do not want the progress of this church; that was the murmuring from the crowd).

I hope this will give the true Celestians the picture of what really happened at the joint meeting of the factions. Therefore, don’t listen to the rumormongers that are boasting with vainglory, which they did deserve because they’re not looking out for the stability of this church, but their selfish interest.

Meanwhile, the other faction that is interested in the oneness and progress of this church told Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa and trustees that whatever meeting they want them for will be done on a neutral ground because of the impressions they are giving to their followers that the other factions that is Pastor Maforikan faction have come to beg them.

Nevertheless, we will not hesitate to give kudos and honor to those who deserve it that is those that work tirelessly for the oneness and progress of this church The Jehovah God of Celestial will continue to strengthen you and grant you the courage to fulfils his mission in Celestial Church Of Christ in Jesus Name Amen.

There is no gainsaying the fact that the obstinate people that are propagating lies around polluting the mind of true Celestians will face the music when the wrath of God will descend on them.
