Where are we now in celestial church?  and where is the church going.  We are  yet to see any significant sign that Emmanuel Oshoffa was chosen by the Holy Spirit to Lead the church.
 
In the scripture the coming of Messiah was prophesied over 2OO years before he was born  and under the Miraculous birth of Jesus Christ through the Holy Virgin Mary it would have been inconceivable then and even now to accept Joseph and Mary’s newborn  as the Messiah, How ever we began to see the signs at the early age of twelve through his teaching and action, until he was sacrificed on the cross so that we can be saved. But before he departed, he promised us the give of the Holy Spirit, the comforter:

"As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you".   John 15:9.

As Christian we may disagree or see things differently but if we truly  have the Holy Spirit in us we will still love each other despite our differences. Saul who later became Paul made it clear in 1st Corinthians 3:3-9:

"For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?  For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?  Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.  Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.  For we are laborers together with God”. 
 
I don’t believe in bashing but as long as the Lord is on my side I will tell the truth.  I don’t really blame Emmanuel Oshoffa, because he was smart enough to appoint more people to the trustee leading to a bitter strive between them.  The division between them began when Emmanuel Oshoffa promised to give anointment at no charge (even though it is a fact that people were later charged for anointment under the umbrella of raising money for thepast Pastor’s widows: but that’s a different story) that decision made the trustees shoot themselves on their feet; realizing they have made a terrible mistake.  Base on a series of facts, I have come to conclusion that Pastor Emmanuel and faction have adapted a Gangster Mentality and have there own  interest at heart and not the Church or Christ.

1)   Pastor Emmanuel and his faction have proven that they do not have the integrity to Lead this church by isolating the different factions from the International Headquarter Imeko.  Instead of facilitating an initiative to work together or come to a comprise He and The local chief of Imeko adapted a force to deter Pastor Jesse from being buried at Imeko.  ‘As man proposes God disposes”  A land slide court injunction against them declaring that every Celestian Church member regardless of the faction should have access to Imeko.

2) Pastor Emmanuel Oshoffa and His faction did not participate in the burial arrangement of Baba Oriere and Rev. Pastor Jesse because they were opposite factions,  People who have served most of their lives in Celestial, as they can create lives. May God have mercy on us.

3) An initiative to reunite the church by the two other factions led by Pastor
Agbaossi and Pastor Maforikan invited Pastor Emmanuel and His faction to Republic of Benin for a meeting.  Pastor Emmanuel withdrew at the last minute and told them to meet him at Imeko.

Based on these three major facts We challenge anyone to tell us which Holy Spirit chose this man as Pastor. We cannot all sit down and fold our arms and let 3 people decided for God.  The God that We serve is a God of Love, peace and unity.  Obviously Pastor Emmanuel hasn’t convinced us a bit with His actions that the ‘Holy Spirit’ chose Him to Lead Celestial Church of Christ.  One can tell a man who has the Spirit of God in him by the type of people he surrounds himself with, all those we know are self serving and back stabbing ego centric ambitious menwho cannot pray for a fly to takeoff.
 
We challenge the Trustee and Emmanuel Oshoffa and the prophets alike to an open debate on these issues. We have to wake up.  God is not to be mocked, for it is in the scripture I SHARE MY GLORY WITH NO ONE.  And for those who think the death of one faction legitimizes the Calling of Emmanuel Oshoffa, I pray you seek the mercy of God, for he is Slow to anger.

The key message is LOVE, if we cannot sit down as Children of God and resolve our differences then we need not to waist our time. If we really believe we Love God and he is the only King  of  eternity then we need to humble ourselves and fear God.  In all the documents We  have read about Pastor Emmanuel Oshoffa,  He hasn’t really done anything for Celestial Church of Christ except to restructure all the Diocese and have the Money come directly to Him.   More churches are declaring there neutrality and very soon all church will do that. 

Let us remember Celestial Church of Christ belongs to Jehovah and not the late Pastor SBJ Oshoffa or the Oshoffa family it belongs to God, and we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
 
May the Lord set us free.  Amen.
