"Lagos
State 2005 End Of Year Report"
Chairmanship:
It has been since
the inception of this Church and in the Constitution
that Pastor is the Chairman of all Council Of Shepherds.
The controversy on this issue is that Sup Evang Lagun
Adesanya claimed to be the Chairman of all Shepherds in
whom Sup Evang Olu Oshodi said it is not right and
unconstitutional to have two leaders in a ship.
Ever since He
assumed the Chairmanship position, he had caused
commotion, disarray and frustration to so many Shepherds
because he will post those that are loyal to him to a
better Parish and ask some to leave a Parish without
notice, a fervent example occurred when Sup Evang Lawal
one of the administrative workers had the opportunity to
travel to Belgium, on his way back home, he got the
message that Sup Evang Lagun Adesanya had replaced him
with two loyalist to him rendering Sup Evang Lawal
jobless.
He took one of his
loyalists to a Parish in Shagamu to replace Sup Evang
Peter that was posted by Pastor P. Maforikan, to his
amazement the members of the Parish shouted at him and
swept his feet out of the Church that he should never
step into their Parish again.
So what is the duty
of the Pastor? If the Chairman of Shepherds will be the
one to post and sack any Shepherd as he pleases,
therefore making the Pastor’s office redundant. The
Bible says those that are strong should help the weak,
but in this case Sup Evang Lagun Adesanya use the
weakness of Pastor Paul Maforikan being educational
handicap to manipulate his intellect, had it being
Pastor Paul Maforikan understood the role of a
Chairmanship, Council Of Shepherds, he wouldn’t have
sign the proclamation for Sup Evang Lagun Adesanya.
Similar thing
happened when he visited London and Sup Evang Segun
Oniye asked him to sign a letter that he (Pastor Paul
Maforikan) is sending his greetings to all the members,
CCC American Diocese, not knowing that the letter
constitute fabricated lies that Sup Evang Segun Oniye is
the head of Overseas Dioceses and they should send all
correspondences through him to the Pastor and American
Diocese is a Territory not a Diocese, when those involved replied with
so much anger and dismay, they had to call Sup Evang
Magbagbeola to read the reply to Pastor Maforikan and
quickly briefed him on what transpired. Therefore, Pastor
P. Maforikan hands-up saying he had no knowledge on what
they put on the letter all he knew was to send his
regards to the faithful in United States Of America.
Finance:
Sup Evang Lagun
Adesanya is the Chairman of Finance and sole signatory
to the account without external auditor to monitor what
is coming in and going out of the Diocese’s Pocket,
recently after so many contemplation on how the Diocese
money is being spent, he brought out a note where he
jotted the transaction without proof. In his note, he
said Rev Pastor Gilbert Jesse left behind 22 Million
Naira; he bought two shares on behalf of the Diocese at
the rate of 10 Million Naira, 5 acres of land for the
Diocese at the rate of 5 Million Naira and 3 Million
Naira for Miscellaneous.
What about the money
realized for the past 3 years after the demise of Rev G
Jesse? You asked the Lagos State Evangelist Sup Evang Olu
Oshodi to surrender all the money acquired from the
fundraising at the State level, knowing fully well that
they had project they embarked on to be expedite without
any support from the Diocese. Sup Evang Olu Oshodi
refused to surrender the money, instead they sent out a
communiqué showing what they intend to do, how much they
realized and how much they have spent.
On seeing that,
instead of you to support the effort of the Lagos State
shepherds, you decided to call your loyalist together to
demolish the good works the Lagos State Shepherd Council
embarked on, by dividing the State into five States.
When the Lagos State Shepherds heard that, they were
furious and most of them decided to be neutral that is,
they neither belong to Pastor Emmanuel faction nor
Pastor Maforikan, until they put the State in order.
Concerning The Open Letter
By Sup Evang A. Vincent:
Is it a crime to
confide in an elderly person for advice? Sup Evang
Abayomi Vincent made a big blunder by openly
embarrassing himself before the whole Shepherd’s
Council, every one of them knew that you were at
loggerhead with Sup Evang Lagun Adesanya, but because he
decided to give you 10,000.00 naira every month instead
of the 5,000.00 naira they always give you at Lagos
State Shepherds Council, you change your tune and now
dance to Sup Evang Lagun Adesanya tune all because of
money.
How can you sell
your pride and honor for money? You were rated to the
position of those one can easily relate to but never
knew that you are just a wolf in sheep clothing. The
open letter you wrote tell it all and the reply from the
Voices Of Shepherds Nigeria Diocese is appropriate for
the answer.
